Alan has gained diverse international experience, predominantly in the in the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors, but with shorter periods in the nuclear and pharmaceuticals sectors. He worked extensively for BP, in Design Engineering, Project Management and Senior EHSS positions where he has spent the past 17 years.
Most recently Alan worked for Borouge (ADNOC) for 8 years, holding two senior roles, namely, CEO Senior Advisor and Vice President Corporate HSE. In conjunction with his roles in Borouge, he held the role in Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association of Director Responsible Care and Gulf SQAS, where he led the regional programs, achieving global recognition.
Alan is a Chartered Health and Safety professional, a Chartered Instrument and Control Engineer from the UK and a member of the UK Business Continuity Institute.
Geoff Fennah MBE
Geoff has extensive international experience in the chemical industry with Unilever, SADAF (Shell / SABIC JV) and S-Chem (Chevron Philips / SIIG JV). He has worked in the Gulf Region since 1982, primarily involved with the design, construction, commissioning, startup, operation and expansion of several world scale petrochemical facilities. He has a diverse technical background including research, EHS Management Systems, Business Process Improvement and Operational Excellence.
Geoff has a degree in Analytical Chemistry and M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering. He is a Chartered Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry as well as a Chartered Environmentalist. He was formerly Chairman, British Business Association in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
