This announcement comes as the country gears up for the global climate summit COP28, which is set to be held at Expo City Dubai this year from November 30 to December 12. The selection of Dubai Expo City as a venue for COP28 builds on the legacy and message of ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’, and affirms commitment to the themes of sustainability, opportunity, and mobility, while showcasing its advanced and sustainable infrastructure, in line with the UAE’s vision for COP28.

Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the services and solutions we provide to our clients. Some examples of our commitment include:
- Environment and Social Impact Assessment to IFC and other international standards: we work with clients to evaluate the environmental and social impacts of their proposed projects in accordance with international standards like IFC. We then provide recommendations for mitigating any negative impacts and enhancing positive impacts.
- Conducting sustainability assessments: together with our clients we evaluate the environmental impacts of their proposed projects through Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in accordance with national standards. We also develop Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and Action Plans to ensure that the project’s impacts are mitigated and managed effectively.
- Providing sustainability training: We assist organizations identifying areas where they can improve their environmental, social, and economic performance, and provide guidance on how to achieve those goals. We conduct sustainability assessments, set targets and implement action plans.
Advising on circular economy: We provide guidance and support to organizations on circular economy principles and its implications on their business operations and strategies.
- Conversion of waste streams: We help them to improve their performance by identifying opportunities to convert waste streams into valuable resources, and implementing the appropriate technologies to achieve that goal. We work with our clients to develop plans for waste reduction, recycling, and resource recovery, and help them to implement these plans in a manner that is both sustainable and economically viable..
At Procyon Group we are fully committed to supporting the UAE’s efforts towards sustainability and COP28. We understand the importance of shared vision and collective will in achieving a sustainable future.
We will continue to work with clients and partners to identify and implement sustainable solutions that contribute to a better future for present and future generations.
